A visit to Brisbane to see family our newborn grandson and celebrate our other grandson’s birthday coincided with a shooting competition at BISC

So we decided to stay in Brisbane for 5 nights and check out some of the local bars and restaurants.

Fat Angel is Brisbane’s only dedicated American Sports Bar and Grill. It’s a great spot to kick back and relax on a Friday or Saturday night. American beers and American food favourites. Worth a visit to watch your favourite sports on the big screen.

We stumbled across the Brooklyn Standard after leaving the Fat Angel Sports Bar next door. It is not an obvious place to see through the day. It is one of the best live music and party bars that Brisbane CBD has to offer.
