Who doesn’t love a cosy fire when out camping? Being in such a dry country the risk of bushfire is something to bear in mind when camping. Also you need to think about how to contain any fire you make.
Originally I wasn’t going to buy the ARB one. I was looking at a smaller and cheaper option from one of the online 4wd stores with shop outlets. After visiting a shop outlet I was less than impressed with the cheaper offering. So I went online and read some reviews on the product and decided it was not for me.
The ARB offering is well made and packs into a canvas carry bag that is supplied as part of the firepit. Along with a BBQ cooking plate. It is easy to set up and it works great in our testing at home. Looking forward to trying it out when we go camping.
One downside is if you have a decent fire going it does warp slightly making assembly and disassembly a bit of an issue.
