Wooroolin is a Queensland country town situated 17 km’s north of Kingaroy.
It was once part of The Nanango railway line and as with the rest of Queensland rail tracks was a narrow-gauge railway. These days it is a quiet town with the rail trail and the old station building being reminders of its rail history.
To the east of the town is the Wooroolin Wetland, which is a inland seasonally flooded, vegetated swamp.
