Established in 1929, this pub is an outback hotel in Central QLD located 13 kms from Monto and a short drive to Cania Dam and Kalpowar State Forest.
It is well worth the drive for a visit, maybe a cold beer and a meal. There is room for basic camping at the back of the hotel.
An old country pub in the “middle of nowhere”. The kitchen was closed when we called in so that is why the menu has a blank vote.
I would consider stopping in again and either trying one of their rooms ar setting up the swag out back.
