After spending the night in Gayndah it was time to hit the road and head towards Toowoomba. Our drive would take us through Goomeri, Nanango and Yarraman, Cooyar and Crows Nest.
Our first stop was the historic “Chowey Bridge” at Didcot.
We had no firm plans for stops and photos, the plan was to pull up and take “snaps” of anything that took our fancy. The images below are what we liked.
Our next stop was an old railway station that is well maintained by Queensland Rail and has an annual steam train run to Toowoomba’s “Carnival of Flowers”.
This was our last stop before getting to Toowoomba for the afternoon and night at the Federal Hotel.
