When we heard the Bavarian was coming to Rockhampton we were stoked. We first visited the Lowenbrau Keller Hotel at the Rocks in Sydney. It is now called the Munich Brauhaus The Rocks and is part of the Bavarian chain.
There’s something about 1 litre German beer steins that has appeal. Throw in a fresh pretzel and you’re off to a good start.
I tend to eat the same thing when we visit the Bavarian. They have chicken wings with “Afterburner” sauce. Until our last visit they been been a disappointment in regards to being hot.
