June 2017 was going to see us celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. So we were heading to Las Vegas to do our anniversary at the Elvis Chapel.
Rather than fly from Rockhampton to Brisbane we opted to drive and leave our car at the secure airport parking.
Well we hit the road early and headed to Brisbane so we could fly to the USA the next day. A uneventful and trouble free trip.
We picked up some travelling companions from Brisbane airport and went to our motel to unload our gear. From there we headed into the Breakfast Creek Hotel for some liquid refreshments and dinner.
After an easy run to Brisbane we checked into the ibis budget Brisbane Airport it was ok. The rooms are clean, rather small hence the name budget.
We had settled in and waited for our frineds flight to arrive so we could pick them up and see them settled in the motel as well.
Later on we headed into the Breakfast Creek Creek Hotel for dinner and a few drinks.
We were only a little excited to be heading to Las Vegas. So we sat back and chatted the evening away, talking about the trip and what we would see.
