We awoke to what was going to be a fantastic day weather wise and we were looking forward to checking out some of the local sites and taking advantage of the free tram service around the CBD.

First up as part of our Luxury Escapes package we were going to visit the Elevate Lounge in the Pullman for breakfast. As we are early risers we were the first people to show up when their breakfast menu commenced.

Elevate Club Lounge at Pullman Melbourne City Centre.

We were truly amazed by what was on offer at the Elevate Club Lounge for breakfast. This type of dining experience was new to us and far exceeded what we were used to in our travels. Our stay here was going to be something we would look back on with fond memories.

It was time to do some sight seeing and do some shopping. The only place I had planned to visit for shopping was Grand Hatters in Little Bourke Street. I was looking for a new Flat Cap and ended up getting 2 of them, a summer one and one more suited to winter.

After some more wandering around we made our way over to Southbank and went and checked out Crown Casino. Not much to say about Crown it is pretty much like every casino I’ve ever walked into a bit gaudy and lots of ‘pokies’ and tables to have a bet. From the casino we made our way back to Young and Jackson for a light lunch.

We then made our way back to The Pullman for to relax as if we weren’t relaxed already and later made our way back to the Elevate Lounge for nightly drinks and canapes and ended our night with another visit to The Elephant and Wheelbarrow Hotel.
