It was time to hit the road and head to Melbourne for a few days. We had thoroughly enjoyed our adventures around Echuca and our previous touring. So we were looking forward to further adventuring in Melbourne.
Our first stop was to catch up with some friends in nearby Goornong. Then continue our journey to the big smoke.
It was pretty straight forward drive into Melbourne. Obviously a bit slow once we got into the CBD and Chinatown itself. Still it was easy to navigate through to the Pullman Melbourne City Centre where we would be staying.
Once we checked in it was time to visit some local pubs and generally check out the area. Our first sup was the Exford Hotel for a col beer, we then wandered around a bit before going back to a place we have visited previously for dinner. The West Lake Restaurant in Chinatown offers a fantastic banquet for 2 people and once again we decided to order it. We then took a quick tram ride to The Elephant and Wheelbarrow for another cold beverage before calling it a night.
