The Thirsty Tourists Are Back On Tour!
This little adventure was planned a couple of months ago, but apparently Mother Nature didn’t get the memo! The weather hasn’t exactly been playing nice so far, but a bit of rain isn’t going to stop us… well, not just yet!

Today’s adventures included an overnight stay at the Dog & Bull Hotel, and we’re looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings.
Hopefully a little less rain and a lot more sunshine!
After all, touring is thirsty work, whatever the weather!
Thirsty Thursday – Yeah, Nah!
Well, Thursday was supposed to be Day 2 of ticking off more of the ABCs of Touring. But Mother Nature had other ideas. And apparently, she wasn’t taking requests!
Five hours and 322km of riding in the wet later, we had two very soggy Thirsty Tourists!
We had our wet-weather riding gear on, but even that eventually threw in the towel. Five hours of relentless rain will test just about anything, including our enthusiasm for being out on the road!
Unfortunately, some of those ABCs will have to wait for another day, which means we’ll just have to plan another tour. Oh, the hardship!
Of course, we’ll need to find a suitable lunch stop along the way. Preferably somewhere with a roof, a warm welcome and a cold beer!
After all, we’re The Thirsty Tourists, and touring is thirsty work — even when the weather is doing its best to turn us into drowned rats!
