When we lived in Rockhampton our favourite Thai restaurant was Thai Tanee in Denham Street, Rockhampton. Once we relocated to the coast it was more of a “chore” to drive there. The owner and staff were great do interact with and we visited often enough for them to know our orders without asking us.
Fortunately, these is also a Thai Tanne in James Street Yeppoon. I believe the owner of the Yeppoon restaurant is the nephew of the Rockhampton restaurant.
Our visit here was to celebrate Valentine’s Day early as I was travelling on the 14th.
The entrees and mains are fantastic along with a few Singha beers. My favourite is always the BBQ Prawns and Mrs Thirsty goes for stir fry Chicken with Cashew Nuts.
