Route 66 Motel
We booked in here 9 months in advance as part of our trip planning. when we arrived we were told there was no reservation. They did give us a room for the same price we were quoted on the reservation though.
The booking was through Booking.com who later contacted asking why I never arrived for my booking. I told them the story of no reservation and sent copies of my invoices to them to show we did turn up as planned.
It is a cheap hotel near a big city, and for a cheap hotel it’s ok. Breakfast is nothing to rave about, the cooling and heating system works well.
It’s a close walk to to great places to eat “The Kerry Piper” and “Dell Rhea’s Chicken Basket”.
